Time For Vegan Waffles
Having waffles for breakfast (or lunch, or dinner) was my favorite since childhood. My aunt would always make us with all these colors and stuff. Gosh, I miss those days. I was about 5 or so, of course, I was having non-vegan waffles then. So, I have tried vegan waffles and now I’ll be sharing this delicious recipe with you.
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup non-dairy milk
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Time to make vegan waffles!
Mix all the dry ingredients, first. Then add apple cider vinegar. I was told to mix eggs and sugar first to make baked goods as fluffy as possible. Apple cider vinegar would do this in this recipe, as it combines with baking powder. Then, add non-dairy milk. You can add vanilla for flavor, or you can just leave it.
While you’re doing this, put your waffle-maker on, so it’d be hot when you’re ready. with coconut oil, grease the waffle-maker, for it not to stick. Then, follow the instructions of the machine on how to use it.
Let’s get creative!
I saw a picture of the these non vegan waffles on Pinterest. I like the idea so much I just forgot about decorating the real Christmas tree. it’s legit. Now, to do this you can use that exact recipe and add food coloring to it. Well, since my mother doesn’t want me to put food coloring, and my Waffle making machine is not as cool as these,I couldn’t enjoy the satisfaction of taking this picture myself. LOL
My machine just makes plain pancake looking waffles but anyways it gets work done.
Now, you can do it this edible Christmas tree with vegan waffle recipe and enjoy your holiday breakfast with festive breakfast ideas.
