Quick Vegan Mug Cake
Who doesn’t want a quick, easy and healthy snack when they come home from a busy day?
This is enough to quiet one person’s 3pm hunger strike. So, if you are with a company, you can always double the quantity by the number of company.
Here’s a recipe for a delicious vegan cake, so you can enjoy it, as well.
4 tbsp of flour
1 tbsp of cocoa
2 tbsp of sugar
2 tsp of vegetable oil
2 tsp of jam
4 tbsp of non-dairy milk
Mix them well, then put it in the microwave for 4-5 minutes, or put it in the oven for 10-20 minutes. Minutes depend on how fudgy you like your cake to be. I like mine quite fudgy, like brownie (10 minutes in the oven). However, If you want it solid like a cake, keep it longer (5 minutes in microwave or 20 minutes in the oven).
Another note; I used oat flour, this is totally optional, you can use any kind of flour. Additionally, I used white sugar, you are welcome to use brown sugar. For the jam, I use raspberry jam, it was what I had at hand. You can use apple sauce, as well.
Make sure to coat the mug with veg oil before putting them all. It will help the cake come off easily. For the milk, I used water, actually, however non-dairy milk would be perfect, in my opinion.
