As I mentioned in previous article, these resolutions should be aligned with your ‘big picture’, while also having fun with the experience. Read that for guidance to choose resolutions that you will actually do. So, here is my new year resolution ideas list for you to choose for your new year.  🙂

These are some ideas for you. I will say do more of this instead of start, because you may be already doing these. So, here we go.

  • Start practicing yoga/ meditation more often
  • Go on a mindful walk in the nature more often
  • Let go of past
  • Write in a journal every day
  • Start ‘Morning Pages’ (3 page every morning)
  • Dance (it helps you get negativity out)
  • Double the time you spend outside
  • Avoid negative people this year (the moment you see red flag, turn away)
  • Surround yourself with positive people
  • Make new friends who are as ambitious (or more) as you are. This helps you keep motivated.

It’s so easy to get lost in the busy lifestyle. Yet, people are far more important than we realize, so this year, take 30 minutes out of your day and connect with people more often. Say, every month, connect with one of followings.

  • Old friends
  • Family
  • Nemesis (tell them you understand them, and forgive them, mutually)
  • Yourself (do this every day LOL, no but seriously)
  • Animals (they need human love, too)
  • Nature

 

Routine

Establishing solid routine is so relaxing for the mind. When you know what you’re gong to do keeps you away from overwhelm. So, here are some ideas to establish routines, I’m definitely doing first 6 of them for the first time LOL.

  • Sleep routine
  • Night routine
  • Morning routine
  • Skin care routine
  • Health care routine
  • Hair care routine
  • Work out routine

 

Experience

Do more of these following

  • go to theater/ opera/ ballet/ live concerts (more often)
  • Make/Create some things
  • get into DIY (it’s soothing)
  • Listen to good music
  • Remember BIG GOAL (reminding oneself of the big goal can motivate even more)
  • Enjoy sunrises (start waking up before dawn, and enjoy sunrises)
  • Enjoy sunsets (take a moment to enjoy that beautiful phenomenon of nature)
  • Don’t complain for a whole day
  • Do one of those 30-day challenges
  • Make breakfast priority
  • Learn to read food labels
  • Take up new hobby
  • Start your own project
  • Cut out sugar
  • Get into habit of cooking for yourself (take-outs are outdated, homemade is the new sexy)

  • 1 day off technology and/or social media every month this year
  • Monthly deep cleaning
  • Monthly Declutter
  • Try 1 bucket list idea every month
  • Deep clean your laptop every month

  • Visit some new place every month (definitely going in my own resolution list)
